I spent fifteen years as the perfect patient. Every practitioner, every treatment, every therapy that promised relief. I showed up, did the work, stayed hopeful.And I kept disappearing. In the end I couldn't get up off the floor without help.Then I broke my arm, and it healed faster than expected. My body knew exactly how to heal. I had a science degree, for god's sake.Wait.
